I am a Florida Bar Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer, and also certified in Criminal Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
I have an LL.M. (Master’s in Law) degree in Advocacy – with distinction (worked hard for that).
I am a criminal defense attorney, and an adjunct professor of Florida criminal procedure and trial advocacy.
My interests are stories pertaining to the criminal justice system, and trial law in general. The commentary I post here are my musings on things that I find interesting, for whatever reason. It could be because I know the players involved, or because I know the back story of what is happening. Often, it is because I have seen or encountered the same issue in my practice, and know that is REALLY going on.
The one thing I know for sure is this: the media gets some of it right some of the time, but rarely reports a story in a way that is accurate in light of how the justice system works. Visit me at www.BodifordLaw.com or at my Florida Bar profile.
